2. Visiting the website
To deliver the website, we process technical connection data such as your IP address, the time of the request, the domain and page requested, and technical information sent by your browser. This is necessary to serve the site, keep it stable, and protect it from misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure operation of this service.
The application and proxy configuration supplied for this site do not enable permanent routine access logging. Technical error and security logs may still arise in operation. The website runs on a VPS hosted by 1blu GmbH.
3. Offers and messages
When you submit an offer, we process the domain name, your name, email address, and offer amount as required fields. Company and message are optional. We use these details to review your inquiry, respond to you, and, where relevant, prepare or carry out a domain sale. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
Form details are sent through an encrypted SMTP connection to a mailbox provided by STRATO GmbH. The application does not create its own database of offers. We cannot handle a form inquiry without the required fields. If you contact us by email, we process the information you send for the same purposes.
To limit automated misuse, we temporarily process your IP address together with the requested domain in server memory for a one-hour rate limit. Expired entries are removed regularly. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protecting the form and mail infrastructure.
4. Recipients and retention
1blu processes technical data as our hosting provider. STRATO handles the delivery and mailbox storage of offer inquiries and emails. We share data with others only where needed for a specific transaction or required by law. If an escrow provider is agreed for a sale, we will identify that provider before sharing data with them.
We retain inquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to respond and, where applicable, handle a potential transaction. Afterwards, we delete them unless statutory retention duties or legitimate interests in establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims require continued retention.
5. Cookies and third-party content
This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies, tracking services, or externally loaded fonts. These services are not needed to display the pages.
6. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for reasons relating to your particular situation. Contact us at kontakt@wiedeki.de.
